MEET THE MEMBER – ABLEMANS LCS

By Annika Perho 19 Jun 2018

Rarely in the office, more often at shipyards around the world. With flexible scheduling we found time to meet in the Masku premises. Meet our member Esa Ritari, Ablemans LCS.

Who are you? My name is Esa Ritari. I am Managing Director of Ablemans LCS Oy.

What is your company specialized in? Ablemans LCS is specialized in Lifecycle projects onboard ships. We make engineering and planning, retrofit installations, refurbishments, upgrades and repairs. Works we carry out professionally and in close co-operation with classification and owner.

Tell us about your clients and partners? Ablemans LCS clients are Cruise Lines companies and Ferry operators. We have extensive network of partners around the world.

What services or products do you offer to other YardMate members? Ablemans LCS can be a reliable partner in projects or be a supplier of services and products to YardMate members. We can offer YardMate members products and services as through YardMate it is easier for us to combine full packages.

What are your expectations for YardMate? We believe that together with YardMate members we can be more visible and more easily available for our customers. Marketing of such group has already received great interest abroad.

What are your future needs a) regarding personnel? In the near future we are looking for new personnel. It is challenging to find such persons who are capable to travel with short notice and sometimes for long periods working with multiple projects simultaneously.

b) regarding sub-contractors and partners? Since we work in such a wide variety of the projects we need sub-contractors and partners from many different branches. As an example such as piping works and stability and strength analysis. Our quality standards are high and we expect same from our partners.

Anything else you wish to say to us? YardMate is a great portal with a lot of useful new contact information and more importantly, also old contacts are refreshed in memories when they come visible in group announcements.

And so it is, with old and new contacts we all build the same ship – a quote from Esa that was chosen as the article heading on Finnish marine industry by German-Finnish Chamber of Commerce. You can read the article here.
